They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. We are no idea who ‘they’ are, but over at PlusMinus HQ we can 100% agree. There is nothing like a good breakfast to set you up for the day. London does have some amazing places, we are really spoiled.

One of our favourite places to go in London is Covent Garden, for the amazing shops, street performers, ambience and of course for all the amazing places to go for breakfast. There is something about Covent Garden that awe just cannot put our fingers on, but we love it.

Keep reading to find out where to eat breakfast in Covent Garden.

Avobar

Hands up if you love Avocados. Who doesn’t, write honestly avocado toast should be one of the worlds 7 wonders. Well if you do like Avocado as much as we do then you will love Avobar. Pretty much everything on their breakfast menu is avocado based!!!!

If you want to know what we’d order, we will gave the Eggs Royale Toast (sliced avocado, house-cured pastrami salmon & ‘avodaise’ on sourdough).

The Ivy Market Grill

We all know the Ivy, synonymous with luxury and good food. Well Covent Garden is home to the cozy and smaller Ivy Market Grill. The same great food and atmosphere, but in a great location. Their breakfast menu is really top notch, with lots of the classics as well as unusual choices. Something for everyone!

Ladurée

CAKE FOR BREAKFAST. Yes you did read that correctly, and no this is not a drill! Yes Ladurée the famous Parisian Macaron house has an actual place to eat and drink.

They do actual savoury brunch food like an impressive Eggs Benedict, but if we had free reign, it would be cake for us.

Balthazar

Causing a storm when it arrived in London after great success in New York, you could do a lot worse than having breakfast in one of London’s top Brasserie. Serving french classics in a delicate and edible manner, we would happily order the whole menu.

If you were us, you would be picking the Crab Scrambled eggs.

Dishoom

Dishoom pays loving homage to the Irani cafés that were once part of the fabric of life in Bombay. As such the cuisine has a distinctly south asian flavour, and who doesn’t like a little bit of spice to kick their day off!
Dishoom’s best seller is the Bacon Naan Roll, and it is as good as it sounds.

Christophers

We have talked to you about Christophers before, on the subject of Pancakes. This upmarket American diner has buildable options for all your pancake needs. There are other amazing things on their brunch menu.
