Next weekend is the last bank holiday until Christmas, and that can only mean one thing – IT’S CARNIVAL TIME. So to help anyone that is going we have complied what we think you should wear this weekend…

Crop Tops

Now we may be alone this but the ultimate summer mood is the last episode of season three of Sex and the City (Cock-a-doodle-do), when Samantha throws a rooftop party, wearing the most carnival ready outfit we have seen. If you can’t wear a crop top to a carnival, when can you?

Anything Leopard

If you have seen this tweet from our very own Char, you will know that Leopard print is well and truly back for AW18, well NHC offers the perfect opportunity to get a head start on this trend. Don’t be afraid to mix prints, have fun- GO WILD, REALLY WILD.

Dad Trainers

So you are going to be on your feet ALL day, and comfort is king. The Dad trainer trend is going NOWHERE so embrace it for the carnival.

Scarf Print

Another print that is going to be huge for the season ahed- for style references see Richard Quinn and Versace. Think vintage vibes with a streetwear twist. For bonus NHC vibes layer patterns and materials to create bold clashes.

The Plus Minus Team

I threw the mic to the rest of the team, and asked them what they would wear.

Char: This co-ord a la human deck chair

Jodie: This ridiculous clutch

Becca: If I could pull this off I would wear this

Ben: I am ALL about statement earrings right now, and what better excuse to wear these beauties.

The Notting Hill Carnival takes place over three days on the August Bank Holiday Weekend: Saturday August 25, Sunday August 26 and Monday August 27.

The Carnival covers W2/W9/W10/W11 postcodes in West London in the Notting Hill, Ladbroke Grove, Westbourne Park and Maida Vale neighbourhoods.
