Say goodbye to winter because the clocks go forward tomorrow!

Even though we’ll miss out on an hour of sleep, we’re more than happy to sacrifice it in the knowledge that spring has arrived. And we couldn’t be more ready: here at PMHQ, we’ve already started planning our summer wardrobesFriday night drinks spots, and even the sunglasses we’ll be wearing while we sip on sangria and pornstar martinis.

Excited, us? Maybe just a little.

The excitement of setting our clocks forward did make us realise something, however. Namely, that it’s about  time (sorry!) we updated our wristwear.

As much as we loved – and still hold a big place in our hearts for – the rose gold wrist candy of 2016, we’ve been eyeing up some of the new watch trends making an appearance.

With this weekend marking the start of British Summer Time and a new spring wardrobe to look forward, there couldn’t be a better time to treat your wrist. Here are the 4 watch trends we’re loving right now.

Mixed Metals

Can’t let go of your rose gold yet? Why not add in another metal instead of switching it up completely. Rose gold and silver are pretty much a match made in heaven, and make any watch look twice as expensive as it is.

Pretty in Pink

We already know that pink is big news this year – and it was pretty hard to miss at London Fashion Week, so you can be sure it’s going nowhere anytime soon. But if pink’s not really your ‘thing’, you can still add a little splash of this season’s shade on your wrist. Who could resist this pretty watches, after all?

Shape Up

Who said watches had to be boring? Sure, they need to fit round your wrist, but that doesn’t mean you can’t pick a piece with an unusual shape. We love the bracelet-style pieces and flower-shaped faces that are everywhere right now.

Back to Black

There’s a reason that black never goes out of fashion – and a black watch is no different. A black watch face will go with everything and anything, add a polished finish to pretty much any outfit. This is one worth investing a little more in.
