A *great* hairdryer

So this basically means that the one you use, that you have had since you were 17, probably isn’t cutting it. Hair technology has really come on leaps and bounds in the last 10 years. Even if you don’t have loads of time, or aren’t too fussed on the style of your hair, a hair dryer is so useful.

A quick blast of well managed heat can actually be very helpful in taming flyaways, keeping your hair in the right place, and making it actually feel healthier. Heat helps products sink in too, so you can then use serums and oils that will boost your hair strength.

We rate the Dyson hairdryers and tools as they do very little damage to your hair.

Cleanser

We don’t all need a huge and complicated beauty regime with peptides and acids. However, there are two things your skin will really thank you for. Number one, a really good cleanser.

This will help you keep your skin bright, clear of pollution and build up. Using an effective cleanser will keep your visage in tip top condition.

Moisturiser

The second thing your skin will ask for, and benefit from is a moisturiser. This will prevent dryness, and cure patches of dull skin. One of the mistakes many people make is that they assume because their skin is oily they don’t need to moisturise.

Actually excessive oil is a sign that your skin needs moisture, as your skin is producing oil to try and balance out the dryness. We all need to moisturise.

SPF

The rays from the sun are very damaging, with UVA, which are the rays that penetrate to the deepest layers of the skin, and these rays can cause ageing and pigmentation. There is also UVB which are the rays that cause damage to the top layers of the skin, causing burning and cancer.

An SPF will help protect your skin from damaging light daily.
