If its one thing we love here at Plus Minus Magazine, its brunch. Not quite breakfast and not quite lunch, its an excuse to get day-drunk and of course skip the hangover. What we do love more, is brunch with a twist.

D I S C O

A series of secret disco brunches is launching across London this summer with guest appearances from Diana Ross and the late Prince*. Disco Brunch is a full blown daytime celebration that encompass all of things disco, jammed packed full of fun, games and shots throughout.

What to wear?

You’ll want to channel all things disco, the bigger the better, think Studio 54 but on a budget. You may want to raid your parent’s attic for some suitable garments, but make sure the moths haven’t been at them. Of course, you could check out our Fashion section for a modern take on the 70s.

Whats cooking?

From the moment you walk in you’ll be treated to an hour of bottomless cocktails with a two course menu. Menus vary from each on but classic brunch options like avocado on crostini with a poached egg or Fried chicken and Belgian waffles served with syrup…. Yum! Vegetarian and Vegan options also available on request.

Got Soul?

This brunch wouldn’t be complete without some appropriate disco games including Disco Statues and Soul Train and many many more.  Games are far from compulsory and gives time for great bonding, a catch up with friends plus plenty of giggles in between. Lets hope there are no murders on the dancefloor, you better not kill the groove…

Fancy dress is heavily advised. Tickets start at £35, with the first event kicking off June 16th at a secret location. Ticket information HERE.

Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, a new job or the fact that it’s Friday, you’ll be sure to have an amazing time at the boogie down brunch. But if disco is not your thing, why not check out: Hip Hop Brunch, Garage Brunch, Hip Hop Zoo, 90’s Brunch, The Brunch Society, Hip Hop Sauce, HHL Fashion and Blueprint Social. We’ll see you there!
