With Paris fashion week coming to a close on Tuesday, we have seen everything that we will be wearing this coming Autumn. As much as we love the new and now at PMHQ, we are also not made of money. So we decided that it would be great to round up the trends that we are wearing right now, that you can transfer into autumn/winter 2018.
Red to Toe
Dressing entirely in one colour is spring’s sure-fire answer to a chic ensemble, and red is the memo. This seems to have lost no momentum for Autumn, with Edeline Lee and Paula Knorr sending scarlet women out into AW18.
Chanel hailed the entrance of this trend and this is going to be a big player this spring. For Autumn, clear plastics are remixed with technical fabrics to give this trend a weather-appropriate twist.
Vinyl with also be a big player next season. At Apu Jan textiles were mixed with clear plastics.
It seems that 2018’s colour of the year is still going to be a strong presence in fashion in the latter stages of this year. Starsica showed us how it is done, in soft pastel touches.
Another strong SS18 trend is suiting. Both high end and the high street have got us covered for right now; come AW18 this trend will be going nowhere. Malan Breton showed a series of sharp silhouettes that will keep us smart this autumn.
So it is a dead cert that it will be easy to be bang on trend next season, however after all that snow we are grateful we have spring and summer to look forward to.
