Friday nights are synonymous with cravings for cocktails and letting your hair down, but instead why not let your hair down at the hairdressers?

Features Editor, Charlotte, took a trip to the Holborn branch of Rush in need of a little pampering and TLC after a long week at that forbidden four letter word – WORK. Instead she let the team there work their magic and this is how she got on.

Charlotte’s Rush Experience

“I wasn’t in a rush for once, excuse the pun, and I’d been in need of a cut for a while. You know when your hair just doesn’t sit right anymore? Personal admin such as haircuts and dentist appointments are laborious but necessary tasks as you get older but you always are thankful once they’re done.”

“I was greeted by the lovely staff, offered a drink and it was only a little while before I was sat in the chair being asked what I wanted done to my hair. What I really needed was a trim and a mask and before long the stylist was working his magic on my locks.”

“I could have fallen asleep during that head massage and although this sentence may look wrong out of context, it was everything and more. I was advised to do a masque once a week to keep my hair looking glossy but most of all healthy.”

“I was so pleased with my treatment and my first experience of Rush was great. The staff are attentive, they know what they’re doing and the salons are super Instagrammable. I will be back. Just which branch to choose from?”.
