The Inter-National Institute of Fashion Design -based in India- showcase in association with the London School of trends is a chance to see up and coming talent outside the traditional western outlets of fashion.

The show featured 19 specially selected student designers and graduates from across India. We caught some of them backstage and they were so excited to have the opportunity to bring their designs to London.

The collections blended references across two shows with inspirations such as Indian Deities to ceramics. It was refreshing to see so much potential and fresh talent on the runway. We loved the bright and zesty colour blocking, hand painted textiles, unique prints and layering.

This showcase not only represents Indian talent but also allows us a chance to see the traditional craftsmanship and artisanal skills used in a modern way. This was all aided by the makeup from the lovely team from Kryolan who blew us away.

A lot of talent across the two shows, carry on scrolling to see a selection of the collections…
