What do you get when you put a bunch of fashion designers and celebrities in one of London’s most prestigious clubs with A-list DJ’s for the night? Aside from a room reeking of Chanel, one of the best parties of London Fashion Week.
Here at PlusMinus we were lucky enough to bag ourselves tickets to the exclusive PA5H after party, hosted by A-list club ‘Toy RoOm’ in Mayfair. Sponsored by CÎROC Vodka, drinks were flowing and the atmosphere was buzzing quicker than you can say ‘Another vodka pineapple, please’.
In fact, the A-list night pushed the club to its maximum capacity – something which isn’t surprising after such an exciting runway show earlier in the day.
Once we managed to prise our inner child away from the sofas made up entirely of stuffed toy animals, our attention turned to eyeing up the outfits of the star-studded event.
One of the first people to catch our eye was Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock who had opted for a quirky pink dress with cartoon-like prints – something that she managed to make look effortlessly sexy.
Meanwhile Made in Chelsea star Emma Miller opted for more of a rebellious look as she rocked up in a black patent skirt and black see-through net top.
But it was Kyle De’Volle who really had us lusting after his outfit – perhaps fitting considering this year’s trend towards unisex collections. The stylist and BFF to Rita Ora nailed the punk rock look as he swept around in a long fuzzy blue coat with pink hair – although we couldn’t help but wonder how he didn’t melt in the crowd!
In line with PA5H’s formula one inspired range, black and white chequered shirts and dresses dominated the dance floor, each with their own unique shape and twist. One of our favourites was Dasha Pashevkina, who teamed her race-style chequered jacket with over the knee black boots.
But the night peaked when Simi and Haze Khadra hit the decks. The identical twin DJ duo, who flew in from LA for the event, are also creatives and producers and have been featured by the likes of Vogue, W and Interview Magazine. And we thought we were doing well juggling one job and managing to do our own laundry…
You can always count on PA5H for a night that manages to balance class and exclusivity with a fun quirkiness and distinct lack of pretension – something which is difficult to do in the world of fashion! And this did not disappoint – it’s safe to say that they succeeded in creating a night to remember*.
