Autumn is fast approaching, and we are in full planning mode. Even though it is only August, it will be here soon enough. Yes we are looking for outfit inspiration for the few months ahead.

When it comes to autumn dressing, nothing says cooler months than knee high boots. Not surprisingly there is not a lot of looks out there on our favourite place to find inspiration. Yes Instagram is still very much in summer mode.

So we have turned the clocks back, and headed to last autumn/winter, to get timeless inspiration from some of our faves on the ‘gram. So keep reading to find the best outfits to pair with knee high boots.

High low

Shot from the street’s Lizzie Hadfield is one influencer we always keep on our radar. Known for her minimal chic dressing style, she always packs a punch in the style stakes.

She paired a super structured shorter outfit with her knee highs. Creating the perfect smart causal ensemble. The monochrome of the look, allows the green of the boots to pop. This look is so classic and will work perfectly for autumn 2019.

The midi

Victoria McGrath of Inthefrow went all luxury on us. Pairing her knee highs with a Victoria Beckham midi dress. The black of the boots match the dress perfectly and create a super sleek and sexy silhouette.

This is a very easy look to recreate, the high street is full of great midi options. Head to toe one colour will always look expensive.

Matchty Matchy

Naomi Campbell IS style. Whatever she wears is always incredible. So when she stepped out in head to toe Calvin Klein at New York Fashion week last September, we really stopped and took notes.

This is obviously a runway look. However, it can be easy to recreate at home, with one colour. Red is always amazing head to toe, or if you are feeling confident, why not try white.

Off Duty

Tijan Mazour gives us the perfect non-fashion fashionable look. Akin to the off-duty model stye that we see a lot around fashion months, this mum of one shows us that we can be comfy and still kill it in the style stakes.

Admittedly her boots are from Chanel, but that doesn’t mean you cannot recreate this look at home. Pair your favourite boots over your favourite jeans, and you are onto a winner.

All the way up

Patricia Bright shows us that knee highs just aren’t high enough. With a pair of boots that go all the way up. Yes rocking the killer Balenciaga boots from last year, she looks incredible.

When your boots are as long as these, you can get away with a super short dress, so go wild!

Accentuate your natural assets

Jeffree Star is known for many things, being a youtube legend, having an amazing collection of cars and having a coveted cosmetic brand. Star is also known for an incredible amount of tattoos, which his choice of knee high boots show off perfectly.

If you have tattoos similar, a mini dress and a great pair of knee high boots could be the perfect look to show off your killer tats!
