There is a new bottle on the block for us millennials who find buying wine intimidating, confusing or an absolute chore. You know this moments when you’re in the supermarket pretending to yourself you know the difference between Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio? Well that’s where Jacked plugs the gap and encompasses natural fruity flavours that you might commonly associate with fruit ciders, spirits or flavoured beers.

Jacked is simple and available in two flavours: Sauvignon Blanc with Ginger and Rosé with Lychee. Available in a 500ml bottle, it’s perfect for those nights in this winter or those last minute nights out when you need to grab a bottle.

To keep it simple, Jacked is all about less rules and more flavour.

Not only that, the branding and labelling has been created with millennials in mind and to stand out on the shelf in store. Each bottle has been created with a tear away label that can be peeled back to reveal a beautiful artistic motif. You could even do some DIY and create your own candle, or bottle sand from your trips around the world. Wine not?

Preety Johl, senior customer marketing manager at Jacked, said:

“Our new Jacked brand is dynamic and adventurous and provides something different to the traditional wine convention – it’s all about the flavours – and we encourage consumers to drink this in any way they want to.”

As millennials, that’s what we want right? Simplicity but with something different. These days the gin market is overloaded with fruity options so why not the wine market. Jacked has been created based on premium quality Sauvignon Blanc and Rosé from Chile by Concha y Toro, the wine producer which has developed household favourites ‘Casillero del Diablo’ and ‘Isla Negra’.

Preety adds:

“We don’t want consumers to feel constricted by the existing stigmas associated with fine wine. We want Jacked drinkers to be able to enjoy their wine in a highball glass with a garnish, over ice, or in a tumbler – there are no set rules. It’s all about individualism.”

Features Editor, Charlotte, a self-confessed white wine lover, tried the range over the weekend and here’s her thoughts:

“I’m hooked. I wasn’t sure what to expect at first as I’m used to drinking Sauvignon Blanc. You could really taste the notes of ginger, making it taste more refreshing than I’m used to. Not only that the bottle was the perfect size to share with a friend… or on your own. Next time I go to the supermarket, I will know exactly what I’m looking for”.

Jacked is available to purchase from 450 Tesco stores nationwide and of course can be found in the wine aisle.

Happy sipping!
