Not only is it a chance to stop, and take a break, but it is also that sign that you are looking for. When you see failure as a less negative thing, it becomes much more manageable, and palatable.

Does it really matter?

Now this may sound a little brutal, but in reality how huge is this failure?

As long as you have money in the bank, a roof over your head in reality you are going to be okay. Yes admittedly there is a lot more to life, but when reeling from a mistake you need to focus on the basics.
