In a welcome move that has been seen across the board at some of our favourite brands recently, Mango has stepped up and made a move towards a more environmentally friendly business model. Its new collection, Committed, focuses on sustainability.
Committed is a capsule collection of around 25 pieces, all made using organic and recycled cotton or recycled polyester and Tencel. The dyes used are also environmentally friendly and this gives the collection a very neutral palette, which is perfect for the spring/summer.
It is clear that Mango has put a lot of thought and effort into this collection as it has a real luxury feel, with purse friendly prices from £20-£100 – which matches many non-sustainable prices we see on the high street.
Here are our pick of the top 10 pieces from the collection that we think you will love:
This oversized number will flatter so many figures, and be so versatile. Add to that the dreamy mint shade we are hooked…
We love how flirty this skirt is, especially with the intricate cord tie detail. It will make a perfect addition to any summer wardrobe.
The cut and fit of this dress feels very laid back but with a hint of romanticism through the sleeves, ticking many of the trends for this spring.
Cotton Bucket Bag
This bag has beach day written all over it. Grab the sun tan lotion, pack a magazine and call your friends – this bag will be perfect the summer.
High Waisted Trousers
These may well be the trousers of our dreams, and are certainly the best pair of wide legged trousers we have seen at PlusMinus for quite a while. We are obsessed…
We love the shade of these trousers. Add to that the D-ring belt detail and we’re onto a winner.
This dress has so much detail to it, and ticks 2 huge trends: statment sleeves and ruffles. This little white dress may just be your new best friend.
We love a good accessory, and with these the fact that they are ethical makes them even better.
These are so clean and minimal, and they look soft, so perhaps this may be the first time we break in new shoes without blisters.
The jeans that give back, need we say more…
