The hottest make-up artist, Charlotte Tilbury, has teamed up with 12 celebrity women to create a selection of luxurious lipsticks, Hot Lips. The colours are inspired by and suited to the range of complexions of the women involved in the project, in partnership with incredibly important cause: Women for Women International.

Women for Women supports ostracised women in war zones and places of conflict, and aims to provide care, guidance and education in a safe environment where the affected otherwise may have not been exposed to any sort of help or possibility of independence. Women for Women crucially provides confidence, and Tilbury’s Hot lips collection is centred on lipstick providing that very same thing.

As Tilbury has regularly created make-up looks for those involved for a variety of glamourous events, there’s no better authority on what signature shade can be attributed to each woman.Charlotte Tilbury hot lips shades

The flesh-toned lipsticks start pale – naturally – classically paired with Supers Cindy Crawford and Kate Moss, a 90s browny affair and peachier shade respectively. Love her or hate her, Kim Kardashian West has her very own pinky taupe which is so key to her everyday look. The nudes go darker with a slight pinky warmth for Penelope Cruz’s and Victoria Beckham’s shades.

The softer pinks are for the lightest skin tones involved: actors Liv Tyler and Nicole Kidman. Kate Bosworth gets a retro pretty pink while Salma Hayek’s golden complexion suits her deep rose hue.

On to the brights, which have universal appeal whatever your skin tone. Helena Bonham Carter’s ‘Hel’s Bells’ is a perfect plum, bright with magenta undertones. Sexy orange-y shades go to Sienna Miller and Emily Ratajowski, neon-y pinks are very Miranda Kerr and Poppy Delevigne, and finally, classic reds epitomise the classic looks of Carina Lau and Laura Bailey.

There really is a shade for everyone here. It’s surprising what a shot of colour can do for one’s confidence, and with £1 of the retail price going to Women for Women, you’ll definitely have something to smile about too. Or you can just do the Victoria pout; both expressions look excellent when wearing Hot Lips.

The limited edition Hot Lips collection will be launching in June, but here are some of our top Charlotte Tilbury picks if you can’t wait until then!
