British Skin Foundation's Big Birthday Bake

The British Skin Foundation is celebrating 20 years of being the only UK charity raising funds for skin disease and skin cancer research in the best possible way… with cake!

The Big Birthday Bake is taking place this spring and anyone can get involved to help raise funds to help the charity continue to do the great work it does. Simply bake some tasty brownies, cakes or biscuits and sell them to your friends, family, colleagues or classmates in exchange for a donation.

Need some inspiration? Don’t worry! Baking enthusiasts such as TV personality Jo Brand and celebrity chef Rachel Khoo have shared some of their most delicious recipes, including a salted caramel pecan pie and chocolate obsession cake. Mmm, have we tempted you yet?

The British Skin Foundation has funded more than 300 research projects, awarding over £10,000,000 in grants, to date, and you can help them continue to do the fabulous work they do this spring.

You can hold a bake sale at any time, but if you wait until May there will two competitions you can enter.

To be in with a chance of winning a baking hamper, including some gorgeous Cath Kidston goodies, recipe books, baking tins and more, tweet a photo of your cake to @BSFcharity using the hashtag #BSFBigBake. The winner of the Most Original Bake competition will be announced on 6/6/16.

And send over your dough (money raised) by 30/6/16 to be automatically entered to a prize draw for a Wahl James Martin Food Mixer worth £100.

And if that’s not reason enough to put your baking skills to the test, we don’t know what is!

Full Terms & Conditions for both competitions can be found here.
