My name is Jordan and I run the lifestyle and travel Instagram Hello Miss Jordan! I am constantly inspired by the beauty in everyday locations, as well as places all around the world. Colour is my favourite thing and any time I find somewhere bright and beautiful I just have to shoot there!

I am also inspired by fairy tales and Disney, so a lot of my style is influenced by these and a lot of people say I’m like a real life Disney princess (best compliment ever!). As long as there are gorgeous places on this planet then I am inspired to photograph them.

My mission is to shake up what society thinks about fat bodies whilst empowering those who have fat bodies to love who they are. I’ve always found anarchy in fashion – there’s something powerful in the fact that something so everyday can be so disruptive when paired with a fat body. I want to make you think differently about what you perceive to be beautiful. I also want to be the woman I needed when I was growing up – someone who had a body different to those in the media but who still played with fashion and celebrated success and was happy doing it. Causing a riot of other fat people through my content is the ultimate goal. It’s about empowerment and strength for people who are taught to shrink themselves to fit in. This is a safe space and a riot all rolled into one!

Using social media as a platform to discuss and spread creativity is always something I’ve enjoyed and seen as a positive. Being unapologetically queer and non-binary is great for me, but also allows people to see queer people being themselves and living and thriving and that’s incredibly important to me. I use my Instagram to share and promote my queer print magazine FRUITCAKE, when running a business social transparency is so important to allowing people to come on that journey with you!

I would describe myself as a body positive, slay mama, funny AF, curvy girl boss who lives to empower the under-represented in our society to living their best life. I am and will always be that little old African-born girl who never quite fitted in growing up but adored the creativity that engulfed the fashion and makeup world and how it just allowed me to express my own individuality and allowed me to embrace me for me.

A foodie at heart, an amateur yet bad ass photographer (if you need a slay pic for the gram all day any day, I’m your girl). All jokes aside, I live and do this for my supporters, they are the most loyal, caring and they’re the best cheerleaders a girl could ask for. They most definitely keep me going and if by doing what I do, I can change one person’s perspective, make someone think differently, make someone laugh, make someone feel better about themselves, then my work here is done.

My name is Jordan and I am the author of the website kisskisswinks.com where I write about makeup and fashion. I also create makeup looks for my instagram page @jordan_kisskisswinks. I have always loved art from a young age and when I discovered that makeup was just art on your skin I just couldn’t stop doing it! I get inspired by everything! Especially, unusual colour combinations and textures.
